Docent/ Volunteer Opportunities

Docent opportunities:
The Sherwin Miller Museum of Jewish Art is seeking diverse and dynamic individuals interest in exploring the Jewish experience and commonalities among cultures to join the Museum volunteer docent corps for 2008. Docent candidates take part in a comprehensive educational program that will prepare you to lead exhibition tours for school, civic and church groups and general audiences.

Fall 2007 Training
11 a.m. Every Wednesday, September 19 – October 24

Volunteer opportunities:
At the admissions desk in the central lobby, our volunteers welcome and directs visitors to the Museum. Answer phones, assist with sales in the Museum Store and assist staff in all manner of assorted duties. Excellent working conditions along with other caring, friendly people.
